2013 REMEMBRANCE DAY COMMEMORATIVE SERVICE AND DINNER

The Sydney Masonic Centre was dedicated on 10 March 1979 as a Memorial to the Freemasons who gave their lives in the service of their country. Accordingly, the Centre will again be the venue for this year’s Remembrance Day Service and Dinner to be held on Monday 11.11.2013.

The Commemorative Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony will commence at 6.30 pm on level one of the Centre followed by a two course Dinner with limited beverages commencing at 7.15 pm in the Doric Room on the Ground floor. Seating in the Doric Room is limited.

MW Bro Commander Derek J Robson, AM, RAN Ret’d, Grand Master, will attend the Service & Dinner 

We are particularly pleased to announce that our guest speaker this year will be Major,The Hon Charlie Lynn psc MLC Ret’d whose subject will be The Kokoda Track and its importance in Australia’s military history.  Charlie Lynn is renowned for his leadership of Kokoda trekking and advocacy for the Kokoda track to be listed as a heritage site.

An invitation is extended to all Freemasons, their wives/partners/friends and Masonic widows to attend this memorable event the details of which are:

Cost: $75 pp includes a two course meal + tea/coffee and limited beverages. A cash bar will also operate
