FMA Anzac Day 2012 Wreath Laying Ceremony – Wednesday 25 April 2012


The Freemasons’ Association will again conduct a Masonic Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Martin Place Cenotaph, Sydney, on ANZAC Day, 25 April 2012.

Wreaths will be laid by the Grand Master, MW Bro Commander Derek J Robson, AM, RAN (Ret’d) and the President of the Association, RW Bro Emanuel Manniago, Senior Grand Warden.

The Masonic contingent accompanying the Wreath laying party will assemble at the southern corner of Martin Place and Pitt Street (adjacent to the GPO building) at 7.00 am and will move to the Cenotaph under the direction of the parade commander, RW Bro Major Douglas James, RFD, PJGW, at 7.15 am precisely.

Dress will be jacket and tie for brethren and smart wear for ladies. Service dress may be worn where applicable. Please note that Masonic Regalia will not be worn.

As with previous years, the President, NSW Masonic Club, RW Bro Graham Berry, PSGW, has made the Club available to those attending the Wreath Laying Ceremony for tea/coffee and biscuits. The Club is situated at 169-171 Castlereagh Street, Sydney and will be open from 8.00 am. Please advise Dr Yvonne McIntyre if you intend returning to the Club after the Ceremony.

The Club has also advised that an ANZAC Day Luncheon will be available from 12 noon. The cost is $60 per person and includes a two course meal (main, dessert, coffee and one complimentary drink – beer, wine of soft drink).
